Our manifesto
This is a glimpse into our beliefs and values that guide how we do business.
-
1. No shortchanging.
Go the extra mile.
-
2. Be the least risky option.
Don't fake it til you make it. Find, become, or be bold as the expert.
-
3. Just drink the milk.
Don't waste time churning on tools or methods.
-
4. Balloons are banned in the office.
Airheads and inflated egos only slow us down.
-
5. Careful with the rubber band!
Create a balance of freedom and process. Guardrails keep us on the track, but too much red tape and you can't move. Going too extreme in either direction ends in a violent snap.
-
6. Craft over
.Be intentional with research, planning, and sketching. Every stroke of the digital brush is determined with care. Nothing is built on a whim or a trend.
-
7. People first.
Impact people in concrete ways, not bottom lines. That's just the side effect.
-
8. Path of least resistance…without selling your soul.
Balance convenience & efficiency without sacrificing privacy, security, or your moral compass.
-
9. Bring a rifle and a shotgun.
Sometimes you pinpoint the target, and other times you are aiming in a general direction. Be prepared for both scenarios.
-
10. Avoid echo chambers.
Constantly communicate. Tell both the bad and the good. People don't like being left to wonder in either case.
-
11. Bring a compass.
Adventure and discovery is expected and sought after.
-
12. Anti-polygamy.
Be married to your spouse, not your work. Set healthy boundaries between life and work. Each one thrives in the long run.
-
13. 1 Corinthians 13.
Be patient, kind, and humble to everyone. No keeping score.
-
14. Brace yourself; no slouching.
Stand tall and have a strong backbone. Always share your opinions, and don't be afraid to be wrong.
-
15. You need a tailor.
There is no one-size-fits-all solution. Each project, each person, and each case is unique and treated with special care.
-
16. Yes, we can be friends.
Be friendly without being cute or naive. We're running a business, but we're people too!
-
17. Enjoy the stage fright.
Fear can either paralyze you or be an immensely powerful motivating force. Embrace what makes you uneasy and come out on the other side a refined person.
-
18. Go the speed limit.
Avoid rash decisions, unnecessary pivots, and burnout. Move forward at a steady and sustainable pace.
-
19. Celebrate good times, cmon!
Never forget the wins, no matter how big or small! We wouldn't be here today without them. Keep a record of all milestones.
